 Global Chemical Leader, Akzo Nobel, begins Roll-Out of the WISE Warehouse Management System
Implementations begin at Akzo Nobel's International Marine and Protective Coatings Distribution Centers throughout Australia
Long Beach, CA - December, 2001 - Royal 4 Systems, Inc., a global supplier of warehouse management solutions, announced today that it has begun implementation at distribution centers throughout Australia for Akzo Nobel's International Marine and Protective Coatings Division. Akzo Nobel will utilize Royal 4's leading rules-based WMS in conjunction with its existing ERP System, QAD's MFG/PRO E-B, to effectively expand their supply chain execution solution.
Akzo Nobel's global strategy is to extend leadership positions in clearly defined product areas and specialist niche markets, which demand high levels of technical expertise and customer service. Geographical growth currently focuses on Central and Eastern Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America. The WISE WMS will enable the Distribution Centers to keep up with this expected global expansion. Royal 4 Systems in conjunction with Radley Asia Pacific, will implement 2 of Akzo Nobel's strategically located distribution centers. 1 Facility is located in Brisbane, while the other is outside of Perth.
